Education

Dissection course

The dissection course is provided for all the second-year student of School of Medicine, from October for four months every year. Through the dissection course focusing on the three-dimensional structure of the human body, the students are requested to learn not only useful knowledge, but also valuable ability and attitude necessary to medical doctor.

Juntendo Seminar of Dissection

The Juntendo Seminar of Dissection is provided in every second year for staffs and postdoctoral student of Juntendo University to improve the medical education. Since the first seminar held in 1991, more than 200 staffs and students have participated in the seminar.

Journal Meeting / Research Conference

Journal Meeting is held in the morning every Monday, reading selected journal articles in turn. Research Conference is held in the evening every fourth Friday, presenting own research activity in turn.

Introduction of techniques visualizing cells and molecules

Division of Ultrastructural research (head: Professor Sakai) and Division of Cell Pathological Imaging (head: Dr. Kurihara) provide a course “Introduction of techniques visualizing cells and molecules” for postdoctoral students.

Memorial Symposium for late Professor Shigeo Miki

The symposium is held on three theme in anatomy, philosophy and arts, at Juntendo University (Professor Sakai, Department of Anatomy) and at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music (Dr. Hideto Fuse, Artistic Anatomy) alternately.
