Joint Commission International Accredited Juntendo University Main Hospital as an Academic Medical Center Hospital
Juntendo University Main Hospital is the first Japanese university main hospital to receive accreditation from Joint Commission International (JCI). JCI is an American not-for-profit organization that accredits and certifies health care facilities by assessing safety and quality care standards around the world. The motto of Juntendo University is “Jin - I exist as you exist”. Accreditation from JCI is another step towards ensuring patients feel safe and are safe through international medical standards. Everyone in Juntendo University Hospital will continue to work as a whole to improve the quality of patient safety and care.
