International Student and Researcher Event
International students and researchers from both Tokyo Medical and Dental University (TMDU) and Juntendo University gathered at TMDU, located in Tokyo, and rode together on a bus to TMDU’s vacation house in Tateyama, Chiba about two hours away for an overnight trip on June 12, 2015. The trip gave everyone the chance to enjoy a barbeque and hanabi (Japanese fireworks), sleep in a Japanese style tatami room, and tour Okinoshima Beach and Shiroyama Park. As one international researcher mentioned, the trip was a nice way to do something different compared to the usual routine of being in the laboratory all day. The event was a great way for international and Japanese students and researchers from both universities to relax and spend time together.
