Japanese Language Classes

   Free Japanese language classes for international students (Elementary and Intermediate/Advanced) are available. Classes are held once a week. For graduate students who do not hold a Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N3 or above, the elementary class is a required course.

Elementary    Tuesdays    16:00 - 18:00

  For those who can read and write Hiragana and have a basic command of Japanese. Japanese Language study experience of 80 hours or more is desired. For more details, please send inquiries to the Graduate School Office.

Intermediate / Advanced    Wednesdays    16:00 - 18:00

  For those who have passed the JLPT N3, or those who to plan to take the JLPT N2 or N1, or those who have Japanese Language study experience of 300 hours or more. Please send inquiries to the Graduate School Office if you have passed the JLPT N3 (2009 or before).
