SUZUKI Daichi:
SUZUKI Daichi won the gold medal in the 1988 Seoul Olympics 100 M Backstroke and was recently named the first Sports Agency Chief of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT). SUZUKI Daichi holds the following positions as well:
- Executive Committee Member, World Olympians Association
- President, Olympians Association of Japan
- Chair, Athletes’ Commission, The Tokyo Organizing Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games
- Executive Board Member, Japanese Olympic Committee (JOC)
- President, Japan Swimming Federation
- Professor, Faculty of Health and Sports Science, Juntendo University
