In our education system for medical school students, instructions are provided to enable learning in a wide variety of areas including perinatology, reproductive medicine, gynecological oncology, clinical anatomy, infertility/endocrinology, etc. through the M3 and M4 lecture courses and M5 BSL practical training.
Obstetrics and gynecology are special medical fields which cover the entire life of women ranging from eggs and sperm to the fetal period, neonatal period, pregnancy / intrapartum / puerperal period, puberty period, sexual maturation period, menopausal period, and senile period. Both those who like surgery and those who do not can study in an enjoyable way, through not only understanding physiology and pathology, but also taking charge of diagnoses, treatments, surgical techniques, medical checkups, and prophylaxes. We intend for students to understand correctly the importance, actions, deficiencies, etc. of hormones such as estrogen, and to acquire the concept of diseases peculiar to women. Because estrogen is deeply involved not only physically but also mentally, both mental and physical approaches to it are important in a clinical sense. In addition, students can study about the latest medical information and research topics if interested.
