International Student and Researcher Event
Tokyo Medical and Dental University (TMDU) held an Oshogatsu (New Year’s) Event for international students and researchers in TMDU and Juntendo University on January 11, 2018 in TMDU M&D Tower. International students and researchers had the chance to meet new people, while enjoying a number of Japanese cultural activities and eating a traditional Japanese new year’s dish, ozoni. After the event participants went to Yushima Tenjin (Shrine) for Hatsumode, an activity that many Japanese partake in by visiting shrines or temples at the beginning of the new year.
