Open Access License Policy

The Juntendo Medical Journal applies the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License (CC-BY License) to all works we publish on and after April 1, 2016. Under the terms of the CC-BY License, the Juntendo Medical Society retains ownership of the copyright for all articles in Juntendo Medical Journal, but must allow anyone to download, reuse, reprint, modify, distribute, and/or copy content in the Journal starting from Vol.62 No.2, as long as the original source is properly credited. No permission is required from either the authors or publisher.
In most cases, appropriate attribution can be provided by simply citing the original article and providing the license terms, as in the following example:
