Digitally Inclusive Healthy Ageing Communities (DIHAC) study is a cross-cultural study in Japan, Republic of Korea, Singapore and Thailand. It is expanding to India in 2024.  The study investigated how older persons are empowered to use internet, and digital technology to keep themselves healthy and productive in diverse cultures. Principal Investigator of the DIHAC study is Associate Professor Myo Nyein Aung MD, MSc, PhD.

He was invited by International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Asia and Pacific Region to announce the research finding and give a key note lecture to UN agencies, and Government ministries on 1st April 2024 at the Auditorium of ITU and in Zoom. After the lecture he moderated a panel discussion which included five ministries of Thailand. The event was jointly organized by ITU, WHO, Juntendo University and Ministry of Digital Economy and Society, Thailand.
