Physique and physical fitness cumulative tests in our university for all the students of Sports and Health Science Faculty has been done every year since 1969. The data of basic physical strength and forms of athletic university students are accumulated. The main characteristics of this research are to make use of the data for almost 50 years about the physical strength and forms, to be able to follow up research of more than 10,000 alumnae, and to make use of these data for other researchers. This research consists of several units, and they cooperate organically each other to promote this research.
Inputting measurement data of the cumulative test results, returning of the test results, and making files of gathered data, we will digitalize these series of works. Moreover, we make the system that we integrate and manage the past and the future research data to make use of these data for many researchers.
We research medical history and examination results of the graduates of our university, and check the relation with the results of the physical cumulative tests, then we can acquire new knowledge views about the health, various diseases, and the physical strength in youth.
Analyzing related physique and physical strength data, we can get new knowledge and views about improving sporting ability and about sports transfer by researching lifestyle, sports history, injuries and disorders history at the university, and also sports career before entering to us.
For the athletes of many sports we aim to clarify the genetic factors about training effect and about risk of injuries. Also, we examine whether these genetic factors would influence life style-related diseases and locomotive syndrome.
