Residence for foreign students living outside Japan
Those who meet both of the following conditions (1) and (2) can use apartments designated by the university for foreign students. A guarantor is generally required for residence in Japan but is not required for this residence.
< Conditions >
(1) Those who reside outside Japan at the time of application and prior to admission.
(2) Those of foreign nationality who will reside in Japan with "Student" visa after entering the school.
If you wish, please check the residence information and follow the procedure below.
After each announcement of successful applicants in the A-C schedule, successful applicants will be contacted to confirm their wish to move in this apartment at the email address provided on the application form. When the number of successful applicants who wish to move in this apartment in the A-C schedule is fixed in early March 2025 and it is within the number of available rooms in this apartment, we will inform each applicant about the procedures.
However, if the number of applicants exceeds the number of available rooms, a lottery will be held, and you may not be able to move into this apartment. We plan to provide as much support as possible to those who have lost, such as by introducing them to another apartment (via a vendor), but whether the applicant can live in this apartment or not will not be confirmed until early March 2025, so considering the possibility of losing, we recommend that you consider an alternative residence yourself, just in case.
