About Juntendo Academic Information Repository

順天堂大学において生産された研究・教育成果物を学内外に公開するデータベースです。本学に所属している（所属していた）方ならどなたでも、成果物を登録することができます。

Juntendo Academic Information Repository is a database that provides access to the research and academic achievements of Juntendo University to the public. Anyone affiliated with Juntendo University (current or former members) may register their works.

Usage of the Contents

順天堂大学学術情報リポジトリに登録されているコンテンツの著作権は、著者、出版社、学協会などが保持しています。コンテンツの利用については、著作権法に規定されている私的使用や引用などの範囲内で行ってください。

The copyright of the content registered with the repository is held by the author, publisher, or academic association. Regarding the use of the content, please ensure it is within the scope of personal use or quotation as stipulated by the Copyright Law.

本学に在籍する教職員等によって得られた研究成果を広く学内外を問わず公開することにより、学術研究のさらなる発展に寄与すること、またその成果を社会に還元することで、地域および国際社会の持続的発展に貢献することを目的として「順天堂大学オープンアクセス方針」を策定しました。

We established the “Juntendo University Open Access Policy” with the aim of contributing to the further development of academic research and the sustainable development of the local and international community by providing the research outputs by the university’s faculty and students to the public both locally and globally.

How to deposit your works to the Repository

• 登録依頼書に必要事項をご記入ください。
  Please complete the required information in the application form.
• 掲載可能な版の本文データ（PDF）をご用意ください。PDF以外の場合はご相談ください。
  Please prepare the PDF file of the article eligible for publication. If the file is not in PDF format, please inform us before proceeding with the registration.
• 共著者がいる場合はリポジトリ掲載について全員の許諾を得てください。
  If you have co-authors, please obtain their agreements in advance.
  参考：共著者に同意を得るためのメール文ひな形（A draft of obtaining agreement from co-authors）【日本語・English】 
  ＊論文情報等、適宜編集の上使用ください。
  *Please edit the template as needed to include your paper’s information.
• ①登録依頼書②本文データ③学協会・出版社のリポジトリ掲載許諾状況のわかる証拠書類（画面コピー等でも可）を添付の上、下記送付先にご提出ください。（学内刊行物の一括登録申請の場合③は不要です。）
  Please send an e-mail to the address below with the following items attached: (1) an Application Form, (2) one or more full-text PDF files, and (3) evidence of permission from academic societies or publishers to publish in the repository (screen captures are acceptable).
  (For bulk applications of Juntendo publications, document (3) is not required.)
• 博士論文の登録申請については、教務課（大学院担当）の指示に従ってください。
  Please follow the instructions from the Academic Affairs Department (Graduate School Division) regarding the registration of doctoral dissertations.

How to check the policies of publishers

各出版社・学協会等の著作権ポリシー（セルフアーカイブに関するポリシー）を確認してください。ホームページ等に記載がない場合や、許諾申請が必要な場合は、ご自身で各出版社・学協会等へお問い合わせください。
以下のデータベースから著作権ポリシーが確認できるジャーナルもあります。

Please check the copyright policies (self-archiving policies) of each publisher, academic society, etc. If no information is available on their websites or if permission is required, please contact each publisher or academic society directly. Some journals also provide their copyright policies through the following databases.

【査読前原稿（pre-print, submitted version）】
査読を通過する前のもの
The manuscript that has not yet undergone peer review.

【著者最終稿（post-print, accepted version）】
査読済みで出版社に受理された確定原稿で、掲載用レイアウトになる前のもの
The final manuscript that has undergone peer review and has been accepted by a publisher, but has not yet been formatted or typeset for publication.

【出版社版（publisher’s version, published version）】
掲載用レイアウトに加工されたもの
The manuscript that has been formatted and typeset for publication.

公開猶予期間がある場合(Publication Embargo Period)

一部の出版社や学協会では、出版後一定期間が経過するまでは、機関リポジトリなどで論文を公開することを認めない場合があります。これを公開猶予期間（エンバーゴ、embargo）と呼びます。
その場合は、お預かりした本文データを、公開猶予期間が明けてからリポジトリに掲載します。

Some publishers and academic societies do not allow articles to be published in institutional repositories until a certain period has passed since the original publication. This is called an “embargo”. In such cases, we will upload the full-text data to the repository once the embargo period has ended.
